This Aberdeen home is a great example of what happens when you tackle the whole exterior at once instead of piece by piece. New siding, a new roof, and a fully rebuilt front porch - all working together to make the house look like a completely different place. That's the kind of result you get when everything is planned and executed as one cohesive scope of work.

The siding here is vertical board and batten in a warm greige tone, and it ties the whole exterior together cleanly. It runs consistently around all four sides of the home, which matters more than people realize. Half-done jobs - where the front looks great but the sides still look rough - are something we always push back on. The full wrap approach is what actually holds up visually and protects the structure properly.

The front porch got a serious upgrade too. Natural wood post columns sitting on stacked stone bases, a tongue-and-groove wood ceiling overhead, and a dark metal standing seam roofline tying it all in. It's a detail-heavy build. Everything has to line up, the materials have to work together, and the finish work has to be clean. That porch sets the tone the second someone pulls up to the house.

When you're replacing siding and roofing at the same time, you're also solving problems you can't always see from the street - old flashing, worn underlayment, gaps in the building envelope. Doing it all together means everything is installed fresh and integrated correctly. One crew, one project, no hand-off issues. Homeowners get a tighter result and don't have to schedule two separate jobs months apart.

This is the kind of work we do regularly across southern Ohio. It's not just about making a house look good - though that's obviously a big part of it. It's about building something that holds up for years, protects the home underneath, and adds real long-term value. Aberdeen homeowners who are weighing whether to finally pull the trigger on an exterior update - this is what that decision looks like when it's done right.
